Farewell DontMashme

Farewell DontMashme

Posted in League of Legends.

It is always difficult to lose players that have been with an organization for such a long period of time. Today we announce the departure of our bottom lane AD Carry Brandon "DontMashMe" Phan. Brandon is well known throughout the community for his AD Carry skills and is easily considered one of the top players in the North American scene. He has been to countless offline events and is a well respected player. Brandon was approached by Nhat Nguyen after the departure of Team Solo Mid.Evo's bottom lane AD Carry Zaqueri "Aphromoo" Black. With a serious void left in the TSM.Evo roster a great opportunity was presented to Brandon. As Nhat stated:

"We needed to fill an AD carry role on our team and felt that Mashme was the best choice to place top 3 at the season regional. There is only one month until the regional and we are serious and optimistic about improving together in this short amount of time."
- Nhat Nguyen

Brandon for his part approached the situation with the utmost respect and professionalism. We sat down as a management team and decided that his departure for TSM.Evo was the best option for all parties involved. TSM.Evo is one of the top North American teams and losing a player, especially one of Brandon's caliber, is a tough pill to swallow as a team. That being said having one of our former players play in front of thousands and achieve his dreams is also a great achievement for us as a management team. As one of the top contenders in the North American circuit were sure that with practice they will once again be a force to be reckoned with. We asked Brandon for a few remarks in regards to the team switch, he had this to say:

"Monomaniac E-Sports manages their players very well. I myself feel sad for leaving for such a great organization that treats their players in a professional way. I wish mMe the best of luck in future endeavors. Now that I am off mMe, I am now going to join TSM.Evo to play AD Carry. I know I have potential to do so because I have practiced and played bot lane with Nhat Nguyen for IPL4 in the past. I am also ready to go hard and have no regrets doing so. "It's not how BIG you ARE, it’s how big you PLAY."
- DontMashme

With the loss of such a talented player Monomaniac e-Sports CEO Andre"Precise" Rowe had this remark to say about the loss of Brandon:

"In the past we have had a few players who have moved on from our organization. It must be noted that I have never seen one handle the situation with such a high level and professionalism and finesse. Mr Phan is an extremely talented player and he's destined to accomplish great things in his e-Sports career. We would like to once again wish him and his new found team the best of luck in the upcoming tournaments."
- Precise
